There is only one problem you don’t know where to start, so you do a bit of research and read success stories of 6 figure returns but, you also find stories of failure, disastrous results and heaps of negative results others have had.

Now the type of ad we will cover is a Boost Post, simply put we will use a technique that Facebook has available on your fan page to get your post in front of an audience.

Now this type of Facebook ad is not by any means the most effective way to advertise but it will get you started and can cheaply drive traffic to your Facebook fan-page, an offer you have or even your website.

I will show you how to construct this Facebook ad for boost and how to set up your boost in the easiest way possible. Now this type of Facebook advertising will not make you a millionaire but if done properly it can definitely increase traffic to your site/offer and increase engagement on your page and allows you stay in control of how long your ad runs for and how much it will cost you.

These boost post Facebook ads are also a great way for beginner marketers to start gathering data/statistic for future ads on Facebook and give you confidence and help you understand the whole Facebook advertising platform as you grow.

To check if your Facebook ad is approved periodically check back on the post and click where the boost post button was which will now show your $ dollar amount you chose. If your Facebook ad has been approved it will show up in the top left like in this image below.

Now that your first Facebook advertisement has been approved you are up and running. You can check back from time to time during the running life of your Facebook ad by clicking on where the boost button was and a small page will open showing you the performance of your ad.

If you feel it is doing well you can easily ad extra money to it each day but start small and gather your info from the ad. Do this regularly in the beginning to increase your engagement on Facebook and understanding of how paid Facebook marketing can work for you. Always start small when starting out with Facebook advertising so you can see if the ad will perform as you can always scale up if you wish.
